Réva is a fairly new Czech-owned project, combining a wine estate, resort and restaurant. Although based in Monforte, its vineyards lie in different parts of the Barolo zone. This Ravera from Novello is made from 65-year-old vines. The nose is exquisite, with raspberry and orange-peel aromas of great elegance. It's rich but also luminous, with fine-grained tannins that don't dominate the succulent fruit. It's a harmonious wine, showing force and drive on the long finish.
