Chalky, milky and rich, the 2017 Dolcetto d'Alba Réva reminds me of the Dolcetto wines you drank in the Langhe 10 or 15 years ago. The wine is very natural in its presentation with easygoing fruit, cherry and blueberry. There is some savory tobacco ash and smoke on the mid-weight finish. Some 10,000 bottles were made.
