Barolo Ravera 2016

With fruit from the village of Barolo, the Réva 2016 Barolo Ravera is a linear and tight expression with solid lines and a robust consistency. In terms of bouquet, the wine offers dark cherry, plum and cassis. There is a second wave of aromas with savory notes of spice, tar and smoke. A pretty mineral note adds a touch of dryness to the finish. This wine was held back for one more year before its 3,000-bottle release.

Bright ruby red colour. Expressive nose of juicy cherries and raspberries, plus blood orange and a hint of spice, complex and intense. Precise, clear, powerful and tightly woven on the palate, opens on salty tannin, with lots of juice, moves with great finesse to a long, elegant finish.
