Nebbiolo D'Alba 2019

The Réva 2019 Nebbiolo d'Alba is perfumed and fine, with wild cherry, raspberry and cassis. The Nebbiolo d'Alba appellation always delivers freshness and versatility (your quintessential pasta and ragù wine), plus you get a good taste of the complexity and depth that is built into the DNA of the Nebbiolo grape. Some 10,000 bottles were made.

Réva is the relatively recent project of Czech Miro Lekesa, a wine collector with a passion for Nebbiolo. The estate was founded in 2012 with three hectares in Monforte. Talented Daniele Gaia manages the estate and focuses on producing elegant wines, rarely fermenting above 24°C. The Nebbiolo d'Alba here shows wild strawberry and peach tea aromas with cola in depth, then refined, chalky tannins with a lot of freshness.
